Safety

DelHur strives to maintain safety practices that are second to none through promoting a safety culture of awareness and discipline that is modeled daily from the office to the field. Developing a strong safety program and superior safety practices is achieved by having a dedicated and engaged management team balanced with a talented and committed workforce. Proof of this commitment is evidenced by our ability to sustain lower than industry average incident and accident rates. Together, we strive to accomplish our goal of zero injuries, zero accidents and zero incidents.

Our safety philosophy is based upon the principle that all incidents are preventable and that health and safety factors must be considered for each task we undertake. Through employee training and the implementation of our corporate Safety Program and safe work practices, DelHur is able to identify and mitigate work hazards and risks.

DelHur’s Corporate Health and Safety Program not only meets current OSHA and MSHA regulations and requirements, it goes beyond these measures to ensure that our employees, our subcontractors, our client, and public remain safe.

Quality

DelHur prides itself on providing quality workmanship that meets all project and industry standard requirements. Pre-construction planning, employee training, material receipt inspection, surveillance, and corrective action plans are examples of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) measures regularly performed on our projects. DelHur Management reinforces the standard that all employees and subcontractors are responsible and accountable for the quality of their assigned work to ensure QA and QC requirements are consistently met and site specific Quality Assurance Plans are followed.

DelHur’s Corporate QA Plan complies with the requirements of ASME NQA-1-2008 Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications and ASME NQA-1a-2009 Addenda and applies to all levels of the organization to include DelHur lower-tier subcontractors who perform quality activities.
